My name is OLUFEMI, Omowunmi Eunice, a female Nigerian PhDAgSE student in Food Processing and Value Addition admitted during 2014/2015 academic session under the World Bank Centre of Excellence in Agricultural Development and Sustainable Environment (CEADESE, FUNAAB).The program promised and delivered an outstanding training and research, which have made me develop an excellent eye for detail due to the heavy demands. The research tends to promote the processing, utilization and value addition to products from livestock to meet up with the nutritional deficiency of the populace by ensuring food availability. Also, I was trained as a Food Safety Ambassador (FSA) under the said program.
I am highly skilled food technologist with knowledge both in the scientific and engineering aspect of food processing and with a wide skill-set including industrial- based experience and academic research on underutilized crop. Having acquired the vast professional experience, I amlooking forward to establish a career in a progressive organization which requires food safety and security expertise where fresh strategic vision and value can be channeled.
