Afolabi Abiodun Samson was born on 5th April, 1971 in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria to the family of Mr Joshua OlusegunAreoAfolabi, who hailed from Ife Odan, Osun State and Mrs Felicia Adepate Afolabi, nee Ogunmuyiwa , an indegine of Abeokuta.
A devoted Christian of the Pentecostal extraction and lover of humanity. He is married to Olamide Asabi Afolabi and the marriage is blessed with children, two boys Tomisin, Gbemiga and a girl Gbotemi,
He finished his primary education at St. Peters Anglican Primary School, Ake, Abeokuta in 1982/83; Lisabi Grammar School, Idi Aba, Abeokuta, 1983-1988;
He got admitted into the Pre-degree programme of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) in 1989 and eventually started his first degree in Agricultural Economics and Farm Management in 1990. He graduated in 1997 and went into teaching in public school in Lagos State where he taught Agricultural Science and Economics for several years. (1997-2007) before going into trading in petroleum products , a trade he learnt while helping his auntie out on her business.
He started his own trade in 2010. in 2016, he decided to further his studies and got admitted into FUNAAB CEADESE for a masters degree in Agricultural Economics and Environmental Policy.
He also have a PostGraduate Diploma in Theology from The Redeemed Christian Church of God Bible College and pastor one of their churches in lagos Province 17. He is an Associate of Accounting Technicians, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. (ICAN ).
His hobbies include reading, sprinting and watching documentaries.
