My name is TUKURA Chinweogo. C. A Ph.D AgSE student in the Department of Livestock Science and Sustainable Environment of 2015/2016 set. I am a Nigerian. I am a Registered Animal Scientist (RAS), a member of Animal Science Association of Nigeria (ASAN) and a member of World’s Poultry Science Association – Nigeria & UK Branch. A staff of National Universities Commission (NUC), Abuja, an organisation saddled with ensuring quality education in Nigerian Universities.
I have always desired to conduct a quality Doctorate research in Poultry Nutrition that will contribute to knowledge, enhance my academic development and research capacity as well as meet international standards in terms of publication and development hence my choice of World Bank Centre of Excellence in Agricultural Development and Sustainable Environment (CEADESE). CEADESE is focused on teaching, learning and research excellence in agriculture under sustainable environment.
The Centre has introduced new post graduate curriculum as well as partnering with regional and international centres and institutions to conduct research that are demand driven leading to development. The serene academic environment conducive for research and learning coupled with experienced lecturers provided by CEADESE has made it possible for me to achieve my goals. I am glad I enrolled.
